Fav. Character in a book

who is your favourite character of all time in any book you've read.

A person, a man/woman a being, in a book that you could really maybe empathise with or one which made you shiver because they were so much like you or they were just very awesome.

I loved Colonel Aurlieno Buendas (first one) in 100 years of solitude, and florentino in love in the time of cholera.

And then there is Dorian Gray.

NFAK sure did create a hell lotta probs 4 me. the song was out in '97 around...n those were the times when i had to travel alone ( hostel- home n vice-versa)..would alwez get stuck at the immigration counters with ppl asking the meaning of afreen......not only that hospitals, attendance registers... gradually the shock wore off... everyone had this crazy idea that afreen meant "Khoobsurat" ;) ..while it actually means "good news".

i always think of the song afreen afreen by NFAK which is by far the most complimenting song ever sung. it makes me melt just listening to it, and im a guy.

yes afaq is my real name, if i had to pick an alias i would have picked something like " Max power " or something ;)
afaq means (after lots of asking around and research): Horizons.

its a typical arab word.

sabbasi, holden was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I think no one ive met disliked him, he was just so likeable. his direct and frank comments were refreshing and a wake up change from usual characters.

Who couldnt love him.

Aisha is She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed, a 2,000-year-old queen who rules a fabled lost city deep in a maze of African caverns. It's sickening reading, but I've got to love the idea of a female as superpower.
