Catharsis: To cleanse, purge, purif. One venue is through a spiritual path.

Login to find out (August 28, 2005 at 3:19am)

what does catharsis mean anyway?

Login to find out (August 27, 2005 at 12:12pm)

Catharsis Cafe had some amazing debates, but it's on hiatus for the moment. Girl-Talk and Londoners are cool, and usually busy. Surveys and Shias are interesting to read too.

Irfani, must sees are oldies like Silsila, Pakeeza

and new ones like Devdas, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Lagaan, Ashoka, Dil Se, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (watch out for the fact it feels like its 4 hours long), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Taal
and Veer Zara

also Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice and Monsoon Wedding (not strictly bollywood but close)

not sure about 80s ones as I missed out on that era
