well it doesnt make me wanna go to chi-town lool kinda too much crime for me there :S lool totally agree with ya on the commity thing ;) they try but sub7anallah...i hope they get the full time school running soon inshallah :) yeah i forgot my sis knows them lool shes the one i heard all the great stuff from :)

Btw, I have some cousins in Tampa (your sis knows them) and they go to that school & love it & only say great things about it.

No problem habibtee! I was so happy to read that article too. Makes me want to pick up and move to Chicago now! If you look at the school's website, you'll notice that most of the administration is women. And you see how nicely organized & successful the school is masha'Allah. Maybe our masjid's education committee should look to that example & consider adding/changing some staff??!!

ameen...thank you sooo much laila for this article! walla u made my night :) the photo essay was awsome too :) no matter what i believe an islamic school is always better for our children because they are amoung other muslims and are learning about thier deen aside from the basic educational subjects...even if they are getting it at home at least they being exposed to it somehow...ive heard about one in tampa, fl...mashallah most of their students graduate from high school at least a yr ahead and head off to college...if thats an exageration i dunno, bes thats what i heard lool but its all good :)
