Lately, I have found myself "checking out" women, in a very similar way that I check out men. I also admire and appreciate the beauty of women. If I see an attractive women, I am captivated, the same way that I would be if I saw an attractive man. Especially with female celebrities.

Often, I think it would be easier for me to date a woman because women are able to understand each other better than a woman can understand a man. I have never been able to understand men, nor have I ever even been in love with a man.

I think that if homosexuality were not haram in Islam, I would be open to dating a woman.......I think it is beautiful for 2 women to be together.

While I am not attracted to women sexually, I find them to be waaay more attractive, aesthetically speaking.

Agreed ladies. There is this woman who works at Express and I just happen to find her so gorgous. I mean she has beautiful eyes and a great smile...I'm happy to be a woman and just compliment the beauty of others without feeling uncomfortable. Kudo to that.

vintage i agree with you in part in that there is a bit of un-spoken competitiveness between women. but i akways thought that most women were very comfortable in saying that another woman is beautiful/good looking, whereas guys cannot (or do not?) say that about other guys.

they seem to think that saying another guy is good-looking is tantamount to saying they are gay - which is rubbish

All I'm saying is that I appreciate another woman's beauty. I believe that once you are comfortable with yourself you will be able to see the best in others too. Most women...Well, the majority of women despise other women because they look better or what not. So, all in all - Beauty is there to be admired. Admire it whether it's trendy or not. :)

there was an article in the new york times like a week ago about this. Girl crushes-heterosexual women who nonromantically adore and are enthralled by other women. it's very trendy right now. unless of course you were actually referring to physical desire, which is a whole other story....
