==She sits in an inviting manner==
A woman doesn't have to be the type to approach every man in a club to be considered a player. She can sit passively at the bar, alone, sipping on her Amaretto Sour, while seductively staring at several men. Her arms are back while she leans on the bar, chest pointed out, finger twirling a lock of hair. If you saw a woman sitting alone at the bar, wouldn't you take your chance and approach her? I thought so.

==She doesn't carry a purse==
Regardless of whether or not purses are fashionable, this woman never carries a handbag. She doesn't need one because she's not carrying any cash. And why would she need a pen and paper to write down your number? You'll take down hers.

==She's always willing to have a drink==
When you offer her a drink, her eyes light up from under her mascara and eyeshadow, and she responds with a resounding "Yes!" But you can bet that this player will never be the payer.

==She has a slew of male friends==
In the first few conversations you have with this woman, you notice that she has many male friends. These are her groupies who hang onto her friendship in the hopes that she'll someday go out with them. She keeps these guys on the side and remains "just friends" with them.

==She always has an excuse==
Once you've gone out with her twice, you find that she has an excuse for everything. She never returns your phone calls and always has other plans when you ask to see her, even if it's an offer to go over and cook her dinner.

==She simply stops calling==
If she stops calling you within the first 2 weeks of dating, it could mean that she's simply not interested, but it's also possible that she's a player, and dating someone else as you sit by the phone talking to her answering machine.

==You never meet her friends ==
She always talks about her close friends, but she never wants you to meet them. Not only does she never initiate introducing you to her friends, she literally hides from them while she's out with you. What could she possible have to hide?

==She starts dating your friends==
When she declines your invitations you assume she lost interest, but it turns out your buddy Scott is now asking for your permission to date her after she met him at a club. Apparently, she told Scott that things with you and her "just didn't work out."
