nge.. im the resident bhangramuffin event arranger ? i didn't know that..
or there is really something like bhangra + muffin..
ITs the largest tulip festival in the world and it started after World War 2, because Canada provided safe haven to Princess Julianna, part of Holland's exiled royal family. As a thank you give, every year they send Ottawa thousands of tulip bulbs.....if you like festivals, I"m sure you'll enjoy our Ottawa Tulip Festival ;) This year its going to be the 60th anniversary....so it will be extra special :)
Vancouver is just an awesome place to go at any time......there are always cultural festivals going on so you just need to check out on the web. There is a HUGE bhangra festival going on there mid-January. Stanley Park is gorgeous..you should check out the hot springs there and definitely take a ferry ride to Victoria Island.
HOnestly.....for London I dont even know where to begin. I can't recall there being any major festivals during the months you specified but there is SO MUCH to do there that really it depends on your taste. Just to name a few: take a cruise on the Thames, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, National art gallery, The British Museum, take a ride on the London Eye.......TONS and TONS of AWESOME markets like Brick Lane, Spitallfields, Nottinghill Market (I forget the exact name but its in Nottinghill) oh and definitely go shopping on Regent St. and Oxford St. Also....if you have time, check out a show in Leicester Square and you have to eat at Wagamama's its an awesome Japanese noodle bar.....
Germany: lots of amazing places but if you are into football....check out the world cup this year yo!!
Have you ever been to Greece....you should consider Greece as well if you haven't been there.
......
