FOR FON'S ADVICE

Well i donno wat to do and FON is the person to take advice from so here goes the story ' I have an 82 year old lady on the ward who is demented for 7 years and has an advanced cancer and a fracture of leg' in short she is dying, she dated her husband for the first time when she was 15 and since then this guy has loved her every single day of his life. for last 7 years he cooks for her feeds her dresses her and does everything for her as she aint in her senses anymore and still loves her and doesnt complain. day before yesterday i saw him he kept askin for a smile from her allt he time i was on the ward may be 3-4 hrs and didnt get a smile in return as she doesnt understand. now i was given the job to tell this old guy that he is gonna lose love of his life soon and as a professional i did that but the prob is that he once promised her that he wud never let her end up in anursing home. we cant keep this patient in as we cant do much about her and we cant let her go home as she needs extensive nursing so laws suggest that she shud go to a nursing home now and this old guy with tears in his eyes requested me to let her stay in hospital as he never broke a promise he made to her and this is his last promise that he wants to keep. and i cant do sh*t coz i am so helpless with laws and rules. professionally i shud have signed her forms for shifting 2 days ago but i am one way or another trying to delay it. i donno wats the right thing to do here ? FON help me out here.

you can let her go with her husband and he can nurse her or hire a nurse. Cant he?

DOC i do sometimes think u don't half talk cr*p lol... i mean u've only recently gotten married....surely you luv ur wife..dont u? *:

And i guess only time will tell if you luv her till the day you or she dies......so all this talk about luving someone for so long is totally futile.

aww may Allah swt rest the poor woman's soul in peace -:-

I guess for the husband, in the end he did keep his promise to her, in that she didnt end up going to a nursing home afterall.

As they say the Almighty works in mysterious ways :(
