Are you guys following what friedman is talking about these days. It is not particulary relevent for a physics village but physics is the mother of technology if I may say (don't discuss this last claim please.) I am thinking of an alternative in here. Students who come to college, I am talking top college are quite uninterested by learnining period. is it high school fault fault. I think it is mainly the parents faults and than high school and finally W. (dubya pour les intimes) of course. I can see a bleak image of America in the next ten years. I have many friends (great guys from caltech and Harvard in their late 40s) who are relocating to asia (China and Taiwan)...Do we go somewhere else and work with more progressive gvts? tell me O wise nassebies. :( :(
