Friends seeing Friends

I have often come across friends that say "Hook me up with such and such". Usually I have no problem because I figure, I'm just introducing them, if it works cool if not oh well. Part of the reason for this is because I may not know one of the persons so well. :)

So if a friend asked me to introduce them to another friend. I would probably hesitate. Only because I know both personalities and would not want to loose both friendships, if things were to go sour. );

I think friends should admit if they start seeing each other and rather than be secretive because it could hurt the friend in the middle. I just wouldn't hook two friends up at all unless my gut says that yes they would work out.

So What do you think? You think it's cool if friends start seeing each other or should they stay plutonic? I personally like to stay out of the way when it's two friends but I also feel the friends should not be secretive about it as long as they don't ask me about what the other is up to. :#

Naveed, I didn't mean it in a harsh way. You are pretty upbeat for the age you are, atleast when you came to the picnic you didn't act like an uncle. :)

Yehbandishian, I agree with you for the most part but I just don't think friends should hide it from other friends. They should break the plutonic relationship if they know each other really well and know that they can't really make it work. I do agree that a friend is probably the best person to make a significant but there is a reason why they are friends. That reason just varies person to person.

Oh that's horrible. Let's just pray there rn't too many trucks and the right taxadermist comes along and stuff you nicely. :D

Mano- road kill is how I feel after my last relationship! I'm one of those road kills that dept of transportation doesn't bother picking up. They just wait for the trucks to make me blend in with the asphalt -:-

Labs- *wincing at reminder of 40*. I'm not gonna say age is a number . . . well I said it. Actually I forget that I am. Another cliche . . . I have the heart of a child, well u may think that means I'm immature. lol. Well, it is an awkward stage, especially with my 12 yr old daughter visiting. My girl looks 16 and I look younger, so people think I'm some perv when I hold my daughter's hand or hug her in public.

Labs there should be a handbook on it. The one advantage that stands out the most is younger people listening to you :)

Labs, No yaar. I am only thinking of the people I know. It's one thing to be a kid at heart and it's another thing to be a kid. I know I'm a kid at heart and take relationships seriously but if I were just a kid i'd just play around. I'll be in that 3-0 range in a couple of years, so I'd never point fingers at people i don't know.
