I liked the War of the Worlds, its personal movie, its not about action but more about family and the stress.
Did not go to the Hard Rock Yet.

Still trying and not much happening huh. Have you seen war of the worlds I heard conflicting views on it. I was planning to go see that. And have you been to the Hard Rock hotel on Stirling? Let me know what you think about it.

I think they showed a couple of movies Regals at Cypress Creek. My recommendation is to check the local Hindi papers to see if there are movies being shown. I recommend also that u can make membership with Netflix, as I observe that they weekly get 4 to 5 new Indian movies (though on DVD).

Ammoori, Do you know if they show hindi movies at any theatres in the ft. lauderdale area. I know they used to show at the theatre located at 44th and pine island. I like a lot of different things I cant actually say anything specific. I guess I will keep in touch with you to find out.

My 4th of July was celebrated pretty much like everyone else, the typical barbeque and then fireworks afterwards. But it was nice I got to spend time with my extended family its always nice to have everyone over. Other than that the weekend was pretty routine other than the fact my kids were anxiously awaiting 4th of July. They love the fireworks. I cant really say that I know of much going on in S.Fl I was hoping someone else would shed some light. But this Village is so full of talkers I can hardly keep up with what everyone is say(yeah right) its like when you say dont all stand up at once to talk.

What are the most intruiging coming activities to South FL this summer. Are there any lectures, concerts, sports activities? I know that Coldplay is coming to West Palm in September.

Thanks Sherry for spreading some life here, I think we need some IV's and electrical shocks to revive this village :P.

I traveled from Boca to Miami Beach to spend the 4th with my uncle, and cousin family, they have an apartment on the 29th floor on the beach, and u can see all the fireworks from South Miami Beach through West Miami. It was disappointing though, not like the last few yrs. I drove back on A1A and isn't a lively street, I like the setup with all the lively local resturants (Mostly Latin). How was everybody's 4th?

I guess I will start off. I live in the Ft. lauderdale area. I see your always trying to reach out and your not getting much of a response. I joined this village I guess to see what was going on in the area and I guess also to meet some other floridians. I guess you will have to come up with much better topics to catch people's attention. By the way how was your 4th of july weekend?
