has to be one of the best songs i've heard in a REALLY long time...
i liked gulshan grover's role, although he only had 2 scenes in the movie..he had some pretty strong words to share whenever he showed up..
my fav song is 'ya ali madat'..picturization is tight too..
Emraan surprisingly acted well...and it was refreshing to see him in a non-playboy type role...Shiney was awesome...and the new chic was good too....

i saw Gangster last night and it was TIGHT!!!
the performances, storyline, songs, and kahaani mein twist towards the end leave an impression..
the movie carries at a fairly slow pace, but gets better as it goes on..
this gangster flick stands out cuz its very different from what you may have seen..def worth a 'dekho'..
but you're right....most mahesh bhatt movies dont play in the theatre..its wack...when i saw zeher on dvd...i was like damn..why didnt this play in the theatre...

it turns out that Mahesh Bhatt flicks don't play at the theaters here for some reason??? PURe INJUSTICE!!!

Post MURDER, the Bhatts have produced a number of noteworthy films, but the ones that stood out were ZEHER and KALYUG. Their new effort, GANGSTER, charters into an alley that has rarely been visited by Bollywood. Of course, there have been gangster films in the past , but GANGSTER is, without a shred of doubt, one of the best gangster films Hindi cinema has produced.
A film like GANGSTER proves the power of pen and coupled with bravura performances , razor-sharp and acidic dialogues and brilliant execution , this one's a winner all the way.
On the whole, GANGSTER is one of the finest films to hit the screens this year. At the box-office, it has the potential to prove a major success story. Strongly recommended!
