I hear ya plato for sure local taxes add up to the cost. I lived in Austin Texas some time ago and loved it there we didn't have state nor any other type of taxes other than federal even social security taxes were shared with the state.

Yarah I can't believe it 3.30 in Sac!! that's too much for inland. I thought the bay area would be much more expensive. Well maybe now it is I just haven't been there lately. It's near 4.0 here. I hear it will go up to 5 by year-end.

the reason. we are being gouged. local taxes also contribute to the increase in prices. thats why it's 3.39 in chicago, and 3.14 in the burbs around chicago. city tax (i made up the numbers, but it's about a 20 c difference)

i saw a cartoon blamming the high oil prices on the greens of all people! the GREENS!! hahahaha
as if they had any power anyway.

it's 3.30 here in Sac.I wish i'm still in SF,I never felt the need to use my car at all.
