Fun times indeed. Great to meet new pashtoons in the area, that I would've never though of meeting without this meet up. Really cool people to hang out with.

Baraan, it was a pleasure meeting you. Hopefully people will come out of their hibernation and not be so afraid of meeting like-minded folks.

btw, I am the king of game of Checkers....enough said.

Ok since no one has written about our get together yet, I guess I will. I thought it was splendid, and hope to do it again. We had two ladies and two guys show up. I think we all got to know each other a bit and hopefully next time can get some more people together and chat a bit. I think we are an eclectic group and have a lot of diversity, so I encourage others to come. Perhaps next time we can do Kabobs or something or plan an activity. If we start getting enough people, then we can actually do something proactive in the community and get some recognition.

I also have another idea. I was thinking why not send out emails to all those pushtuns in this group living in the area. I can sift through the women and if you're willing you could lookup all the men who live in the area. What do you say? If we get them out by tomorrow that would still be good, that is if Friday is the day we're getting together. It shouldn't be too difficult. Then we can start posting our meet-ups as an event instead of a journal.

Lol; how about we make it easier? (for all you lazy people out there). Is it all right if we make it for Friday after work? (I get off at 6pm so I can be there around 6:30 pm) I guess at the Ballston Cosi? For those of you who are too lazy to respond, maybe you won't be lazy about showing up. Or maybe even if a few of us show, we can make it a regular thing, and that may attract more people. By the way, thanks Biodigit!

The parking accessiblity really depends on what time of day/evening the 'Meet' happens. If it's during peak hours (9-5 M-F), then finding parking could be little bit of an issue. However, off peak hours or weekends shouldn't be a problem at all. Worse comes to worse, folks could always park at any of the numerous parking garages in vicinity. I think price range is somewhere from $2-$4 for all day.

So it's up to you all to chime in and decide as to when this should happen.
