Definitely don't use it every day - once a week is fine. It is the best product on the market, no wonder the salons use it. I've had my set for 2 years and wouldn't swap them for anything less. Worth every penny and straightens your hair so quickly.

There is no such thing as a flat iron or any hair tool which has heat that doesn't damage your hair. Ceramic may be less damaging, but it also depends on your hair specifically. While some can use a flat iron every day and though it doesnt appear damaged, the follicles are severly dry, and anyways... some people can barely use it but their hair gets dry, splitting and breaking and dull. So ya ceramic is a little better, but don't think its safe.

DON'T USE GHD'S EVERY DAY....My sister has ruined her hair..its actually burnt due to excessive use..if you are to use it regularly, use the GHD oil first and then straighten it...

i use ceramic too sometimes. it's fine. it won't damage your hair unless you use it every day. just be sure to use lots and lots and lots of conditioning products on your hair. do deep conditioning regularly. then style away. you're good to go.

happy styling!
