Glass versus acrylic

Salams everyone,

I went to a sheesha store the other day, and checked out some new setups. Some of the newer ones had acrylic bases versus the glass water jugs. Man, they sealed like crazy! They worked really well and were much less delicate than the glass ones.

Has anybody smoked a sheesha setup using the acrylic base?

Hey Sabih - I'm still recovering from my sheesha breaking in the trunk of my car. I thought the exact same way about the acrylics. They seal and hit really nice but they look and feel a little cheap. Maybe I'll just get a glass one and a padded storage case...

acrylic def seems more reasonable when it comes to longevity, but from my experience it tends to need different setting up. I becomes harsher quicker.

I prefer glass.
