The Godhra train incident was a precursor event to the Gujarat riots .The SANGH paravar ( BJP,VHP,RSS.. etc., constitute Sangh Parivar) used this as an excuse to blame muslims and went on a rampage which saw the bloodiest inter-religious riots post independence.Around 1000 people(Unofficial figures are much higher) mostly muslims were killed in this bloody rampage.Ahmedabad and the surrounding places were the worst hit.After the fall of BJP government at the center, Congress govt established a committee to investigate the Godhra incident.That committee recently gave it's report and it exonerated all the muslims and stated that the incident was an accident.But what about the loss of life and property that was lost in these BLOODY riots.Will the families who lost their dear ones, ever get them back?.Justice came but a bit late.
