LAdies and Gents... I am so excited! In 3 days exactly I will be wandering in canadian rockies. I mean, I heard so much about that region and of its beauty. I'll go with my sister Hala, who is an "environment freak" like me (genetics). We'll be hiking and wildcamping. Why am I telling you this? Well... just to give you an idea for a nice travelling destination. Many people think of big cities likes NYC or LA or artificial paradice like Cancun for vacation... Well, there is an alternative. I'll post my pictures when I get back!

actually its true that you give your name its meaning....you start to associate certain qualities with that name...

even the way people pronounce your name makes a difference...

Sura is a pretty name too.Not so common with a musical tone and a beautiful and islamic meaning.I'll keep it in mind if one day I had a girl ;)
Eventhough names might have different meanings in different languages,it's you who give your name it's meaning.And when people hear your name they'll only think of you and forget all about the meanings.What do you think?

you know yara i was just about to say that i thought i heard this from a fairuz song....its all coming back to me now.....its very pretty...my name is sura meaning walking at night: sara laylan (from israa) its also a korean name meaning sea shell :)

I was named after Fairouz song"yarah".It's a Latin word that means the golden line that the sun draws on the surface of the water.After coming to the US I realized that my name had meanings in other languages too or at least this is what I was told.In Hindi"a friend",Persian"companion or lover",Hebrew"learn"and one of the East European languages whose name doesn't come to my mind now my name means the spring so back to rabee3 :)

Hey Ali speaking of nature,have you been to Yosemite,CA.It's heaven on earth with two different looks both in winter and summer.
I suggest you try it next time.I went hiking there with some friends in snow last winter.It was amazing.I wish I could post the pictures here :(
