I am going to Lebanon in 2 weeks Insha'llah. So many friends and patients have been telling me not to. What do you think? Will it ever be stable enough in Lebanon to visit it safely? What might happen? I am just sad that I won't be able to visit Syria during my stay.

a friend of mine and her husband are visiting lebanon right now. they've been having a blast!
they admit there is some tension, but nothing serious enough to make them come back.

ali, i'm here, in libnan, and just today the news broke.well, before that all was fine, we were all going about our lives normally, just as yara was saying. now, today's news kept people on their toes, i must say, but still everything seems ok!!! true that many of them politicians flew to france, but there's nothing the matter here. so, come and don't worry a bit!!!!!... although i must be honest, it's not the best time to come amidst these things...but ...come, and enjoy your family and friends, khalas! those abroad always think it's very bad here, when it's not that bad! actually it's not bad at all!!! :) did i confuse you more?! :) and besides, in two weeks things would have cleared out..i'll keep you posted, just ask me!!!!

Ya ibni,don't be American.Lebanon is safe,at least safer than NYC downtown at night.My brother who is Syrian visited Libnan couple of months ago and he didn't have any problems and u r afraid u might encounter problems!!!
I mean come on.Aren't there people living their normal lives??going out and enjoying Beirut's beaches???
And why rn't u going to Syria????Tell me Mr.
