Salam All! My friends and I have booked a trip to Miami for the end of July. I keep hearing all sorts of horrer stories about downtown and to watch out. What do you guys suggest we can do when we are there? nightlife, sight seeing? I also wanted to know where the local mosque is around that area. It would be nice to meet up with other muslims residing in that area. Any suggestions?

Well, a place you don't want to go to @ night is downtown Miami, I went to promwith some friends and our things were stolen while we were inside the prom place. Definately, you should go to Bayside to walk around and if you decide to go eat at a nice place go across downtown to Key Viscane to a ncie restaurant called "The Rusty Pelican". Mosque is in Miami Beach but wouldn't know the exact address. Have fun though, and be careful. Take care!!!
