Good bad or ugly behaviour?
Isn't it interesting how our people behave on the littlest sign of a bad gesture towards our religion?
Are we asking for it with this type of wreckless destructive automatic violent retaliation on every turn?...I believe we are.
Isn't it also ironic that a lot of those very same people who don't even remember God or know enough about the Prophet s.a.w. or respecting him enough to even say "Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam" whenever his name is mentioned, are the same ones who are "offended" by this cartoon drawing of our great prophet.
Should we concern ourselves with a cartoon picture of our Prophet s.a.w. more or getting back to our basics and bringing our religion and it's name back to the status it once had. Sadly enough, our beautiful religion seems to look worse and worse by the day, and when we react and behave in this way to such an ignorant act by a non-muslim who doesn't know any better, or does know better and intentionally provoking with such actions, we make it look even worse.
Imam Qaradawi put it best when he said...."If the Prophet s.a.w. was alive in this day and age, he truly would be more sorry for the state of muslims and those very same flag burning, vandalizing, obnoxiously responding muslims. He would more sorry that the mosques are empty when the athan calls, than some cartoon drawn of him and mocking him".
The fact of the matter is, our Prophet s.a.w. has been through a lot worse than some mocking cartoon or drawing of him. He took abuse; physical, mental, emotional on every scale you can imagine. Did he react by burning a cross to send a message?...did he go to the nearest kafir in town and break his window?....I am afraid not. Which leaves the question, where are all these muslims who are rallying in thousands when the mu'athin makes the athan and it is time for prayer?...where are all those oh-so-passionate people about their Prophet s.a.w. when it is prayer time and they know he told us to be at the masjid when this happens. they are nowhere to be found. You will only see them on such occasions as this one, when they get uproared and emotional about an event which is cleverly done to invigorate and infuriate the general masses of people who love (albeit dont know) their Prophet (s.a.w.).
I pray Allah guides us and leads us on the right track. I pray he makes us smarten up and start taking to heart seeing the empty mosques and make a better effort to pray there rather than to go to the nearest flag or car to burn.
I somehow can't picture the Prophet s.a.w. making a dua for Allah s.w.t. to wipe out all of Denmark right now, rather he would make dua to guide these people on the right track, for they're ignorant and do not know.
Once again, I will refer to the hadith by the messenger of Allah, s.a.w., where he says along the lines of - Allah will not change a people until they change what's in their hearts.

Self examinations are in order and i feel that we really need to do that before we step out of our little bubble and make specticles of oursleves.
Muslims in the West are now all being treated like terrorists, extremists etc and it is all our own doing.
The older generations worked damn hard to be accepted in the West and have equal rights etc. The generations that followed may as well have been born with a silver spoon in their mouth, after all it was the elders that did all the ground work.
The majority of the current generation of Muslims has ruined all that. We have rights and should exercise them, no need to go overboard. Such pathetic people have messed it up for all of us and now the innocent humble Muslims will suffer as a direct result of such extremist actions!

Just as one turned out to be a crack dealer after the demonstrations in the UK, i would not be surprised if the rest went and knecked a pint of beer down the local pub or lit up a joint of weed to unwind after a hard days demonstrations putting innocent people's lives at stake and jeapordising the well being and livelihoods of the law abiding PRACTICING Muslims amongst them!
Sorry if my comment sounds harsh but that is the reality of the majority of Muslims of today.

Pukh2na, you hit it right on the money, that';s exactly the type of people I am talking about...what are we implying when people put signs up of "Denmkark, your 911 will come"...or "off with the head of the editor"...If I was there I would rip those signs up and shove them down those peoples' throats.

Apologised for his behaviour when he was taken to court. Further investigations revealed that the dude was a crack dealer...If that is not a hypocrite and a first class example of double standards then i really dont know what is!

"So, by your Lord, (O Muhammad (pbuh), We Shall certainly call all of them to account. For all that they used to do. Therfore proclaim openly ( Allah's Message-Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun ( polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers). Truly!
