Everyone please make du`a' that Allah grants Br. Abdul Jabbar Hamdan a quick release from jail. Hopefully with this news he might be able to be released soon, in sha' Allah.

Anaheim - March 23, 2006 - GOOD NEWS WITH CAUTION -
Shura Council joins Br. Abdul Jabbar Hamdan, his family, supporters and the community at large, in thanking God for a "provisional recommendation" by the Federal Magistrate to release Br. Hamdan, as of yesterday the March 22, 2006.
In a discussion with the defense attorneys the Shura Council learnt that the 'provisional recommendation' requires approval from another judge that may take another few weeks.
On behalf of the community, Shura Council records its sincere appreciation and gratitude to ACLU and their able attorneys, Mr. Ahilan Arulanantham & Ms. Ranjana Natarajan for their sustained efforts in exonerating and reuniting an innocent person with his family.
Let us continue to remember Br. Hamdan in our prayers until he steps out of the locked gates of San Pedro Immigration Detention Center.
