Good Sheesha Places

After having discovered the wonderful world of hookah lounges, I've realized I'm addicted! I've been trying different places and so far, I must say Samah's is by far the nicest place I've been to followed by Chigara's. The problem I've found with Chigara's is that its a bit too "white", catering to the Wicker Park area, no doubt having to water down sheesha to make it meet their clientele's need. Whereas Samah's decor is done so intricately and quite boldly I might add and the music is so relaxing, the perfect mix of desi and arab tunes. I haven't had a chance to try out Mr. Sheesha's in Glendale Heights but I've heard its a decent place. Neffertiti is also another place that I didn't like all that much-- it seemed too normal.

Other than places, experimenting with flavors is always good. What flavors do you all receomend? The last flavor I ended up doing was rose and cherry, my very first flavors so it was nostalgic to return to my first flavors. I've found mango to be taste a lot stronger than most and I'm curious to find out how the mocha tastes. If you're into a more intense flavor, I would say go with jasmine and double apple.

So what flavors and places do you all suggest?

hear hear Ephermal, I know I wasn't comfortable being looked at like that. People do look but there's a way that some people just LEER and the people we are talking about right now fit into that category.

doesn't justify it. either way the point i was making is that you're more likely to find that the crowd there is much older.

I agree, its really not that great of a place and the service isn't all that either. I went in and walked out with a few people just because it really didn't feel welcoming.

i think the only thing nefertitis has going for it is that it's open 24 hrs.

Chigara's is expensive too. The hookah at Samah's is pretty cheap but their food is a bit pricy. The food isn't that great at Neffertiti and I don't really like the atmosphere; its too mainstreamish for me. Its not as chill as some other places I've been to.

Isn't Kan Zaman in Frisco? The one we went to when we were there was crowded, there was no room to breathe and the service sucked as well. Might have had something to do with it being Saturday night but that's no excuse for the latter.

Mr. Sheesha's more like in Naperville. Not a bad place, kinda small though.

LOL there's a place out in Glendale Heights or near there...I've HEARD it was called Mr. Sheesha's but I don't know for sure. I've heard good things about Souks but everyone seems to think Samah's is the best one out there!

LOL, yah I don't do it as much as you think! Sheeshaing is a relaxing thing. It's a social activity and its not like I'm sitting here going haywire because I haven't gone in 3 weeks. Its just been a weekly thing for a bunch of my friends and myself.
