Got PMS? Get Calcium!
Yes its true :)
According to a study by the Archives of Internal Medicine, there is a relationship between having low calcium and vitamin D levels and having PMS! It was concluded that supplementation with calcium and vitamin D reduce the severity of PMS symptoms. The recommended daily calcium intake to prevent PMS is 1200mg calcium carbonate per day
So that's something new; however, some of the traditional ways to dealing with PMS include low simple carbohydrate and fat diets, low caffeine intake, low sodium intake, and vitamin B6 supplementation. Talk to your physician or pharmacist before starting anything new :)
