You said it Dutchez!!! Blowing the nose is the best way to live these days! Just trying to keep your eyeballs in their sockets after blowing so hard is bad enough! ha-ha-haaaa...CHOOOOOO! Phhhhmmmmphhh (simulated blowing sound).

i guess this is the best place to ask this question.. whats one to do when ONE (not i.. ok its i) but yeah lets say you have this irritating sneeze thats NOT wanting to come out - what to do?? WHAT TO FREAKINN DOO!!??

yikes SmartPinky, I hope you feel better soon! If you keep blowing so hard, you run the risk of irritating the skin on your nose. I recommmend that you use some vaseline to keep your nose skin from swelling in protest to all your nose-blowing!

oh man, i just discovered that i have seasonal allergies (i'm 22)...man oh man, what I would give to be able to pick once more!....it's been blowing like 24/7 with no mercy..obviously my snot has a mind of its own..it doesn't care if i'm talking to a cute guy or not..when it wants to run, it RUNS!..grrr!!

okay, blow followed by pick seems to be the consensus. It makes plenty of sense too. Though it's usually one or the other. If you're feeling ill enough to blow, there's nothing really to pick (unless your siblings have been stuffing your nose with coins and filming it for America's Funniest Home Videos). So my "final" answer is blow November-March. Then pick April-October.
How's that for insane =) ?

joe HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!! So theres this one chick at work who had major booger problems. basically she didnt blow when she shoudve. instead she kept sniffing.. so i asked this coworker of mine if she could fix that and she watned to shove a cabinet up her nose..

sugar_high, you definitely had the right dose of sugar. I'd like to chalk one up for pick please. Now you can think of your guitar pick as a multi-purpose pick -- as long as you can stand the pain of using it for your nose. Aw heck, put one up for blow too. There's nothing more enjoyable than the first lung-full of air drawn through a freshly cleared nasal passage! Oh, life is sweet when air comes easily!
