anyone going to the show? It's gonna be kick a$$, (I cant believe a$$ is an inappropriate word!?!?) with Jimmy Eat World headlining....

I got Dookie a few years after it came out and it rocked, but I never thought I'd buy another GD album (particularly after that Time of Your Life song came out). I never would have guessed that American Idiot would contend for my favorite album of the year.

I like their new stuff, old stuff is great too, actually trying to learn to play some of their stuff right now... Yeah, there's gonna be lots of non-rock ppl. there, but I've gotten used to it, happens to almost every band that's on the radio.

Jimmy Eat World is AWESOME live, you're in for some oohs and ahhs. That band really knows how to put on a great show, I've seen them plenty of times over the years, pre and post radio/MTV coverage. They just love to perform, I love them, and they're really nice in person, to boot!!! Wish I was going.

i was into Green Day, but now I don't really like 'em that much. They're okay, not my first choice. heard their new single on the radio and it didn't really impress me - like the ones from Dookie.

yeah...got tics for august 26th at the office depot center lol...although i have to admit im kinda getting sick of their popularity...every non-rock radio station is playing their song now.

I have the same philosophy of "it's gotta be in front of the stage and in the pit, or i don't go." Almost everytime I've violated that rule, I end up disappointed with the concert.

oh yeah...Billy Joe is a hottie...the general admission tix were sold out w/in minutes, but there are seats left. My philosophy is that if I cannot be in the pit, there's no use for me to go to a concert..but since this is GD, i'll make an exception...

How can Jimmy Eat World headline over Green Day?! Anyway, I've seen Green Day in concert twice, and they kicked serious a$$! The second concert, they played with Blink 182 and made them look like a no-name garage band. :)
