For those needing a little background, Bloomberg news recently reported that an islamist website had made threats of launching an attack on the UAE unless it expelled all non-muslims and all westerners (i assume whether they ARE muslim or not cause obviously they MUST be evil) from the country in the next ten days (i assume from july 24th, since thats when this was reported). Gulf News then, in its stunningly fact-based article, quoted ?an official source? as saying that these threats were completely baseless, because ?our preventive measures are there to ensure security and stability?.
So please, no more questions people! We?re safe, the official source has assured us! You think it might help if we let the potential attackers know that UAE plans on changing 5% of its foreign currency reserves to EURO (considering tony blairs not part of the EU ?n all)?
