We should open a "haleem fan club" village ! Feeler : next time u'll go there bring me some cans pls /// Ttmm : thanks for the advices the problem is that we don't have Shan spices where i live, and my mother used the one i brought from england to make a algerian dall dish...... i'm depressed :'(

Haleem is my favorite pakistani dish. I am so glad to discover I am not alone!! The best haleem I have ever had was in Karachi. The famous Mazaidar Haleem is unbelievably good. Last time I visited, I brought cans of that haleem goodness.. but alas.. it's all gone now.

ok the best haleem comes from the Shan mix, the large one which includes the grains in the packaging. Dont try the instant one. Oh and skip the ghee and use extra virgin olive oil, youll be amazed by the results.

OMG, i have bring "shan haleem masala mix" from England last time i was there, and didn't noticed the recipe back... hmmm. Anyway, i need some help guys : what is "dal chana", "barley" and "ghee" ? MERCI :-))

Wow thanks Chocogurl, i'm coming to London in July (hehe you won't get out of it). Pls prepare loads of haleem ;o).
I know Cupcakes that's it's hard to make. Ppl says that you have to cook it for a long long time, but i don't mind, i have to try to cook it once at least :o)
