Hola friends,
Please consider this your official invite for the open-air band party this Saturday. Feel free to pass on the info. We have space for hundreds of people, yet don't even expect a hundred. That would make it nice and cozy. There's rock of various sorts, and if you don't like the outdoor performance, then there are individual studios which will jam off and on throughout the day. And then theres Sign for Stereo, which is trance-fusion-everything!
I was just told that the bands will start arriving by noon. There will be a barbeque and people hanging out. The space is really chill, its all musicians living here, and you'll have the option to go to any of the 8 studios you befriend the residents of in this gated community. Some of the bands that are performing are:
The Holy Fools
The Rum Diary
The Mall
Sign for Stereo
There are others, but its basically a large collective party among musicians, and for us all to meet each other's friends. The place will definitely be jamming by sunset. I'd say have lunch and come anytime. I'll be breaking my fast at sunset, but that won't keep me from enjoying the festivities all day. Now please listen as I have to say this: I don't drink, but know that some people do. If you are among those, then please bring some alc to contribute to the mix. There will be drinks, but they're bound to run out. If you're not fasting, or want to break your fast there, then too, please bring at least as much food as you'd be eating.. so that there's enough for everyone. Many thanks!
Location is 1234 47th St., Oakland, between International and 12th. Take the High street exit off 880, stay straight towards Oakland. Turn right onto International Blvd and cross two traffic lights. 47th Street is right after the traffic light of 46th. Turn right and call me at the number below. I'll help you find parking and escort you through the gates. All the best!

Well I don't want any dear Franciscan to say that they were left out of the largest global bash this city has known in recent history.. just because Abbas didn't share the info.
