Hanging with the boys
What tuned me into these guys was actually meeting them before knowing their music. I got to hang out with these guys back in 2000-2001. They took me to their store Yoshi Toshi in DC and I was able to hear some of their mixing, and what tuned me into their music was their attitudes. Ali and Sharam are unbelievable - great hosts and full of life. You can hear it through their music.
