Harry Potter Place on Mercer St., NY
Did anyone go to Harry Potter Place? Scholastic put it together right outside of their NY store on Jul. 15. Basically it was a whole block party full of Harry Potter stuff. Hagrid and Professor McGonagall were there as was the first signed copy of the HBP under locked glass, flanked by two big security guards!
They made it look like Diagon Alley, with Eyelop's Owl Emporium (with live owls!), and a whole bunch of other shops. It was kind of fun, but we just saw it from the sidewalk because the line to enter it was a whole New York block long!
Anyone else go?
