have you read this,,,,Muta Guilt:

I am a college student at a school upstate New York. In my freshman year, I met a Muslim boy, who I started talking to. There was intense physical attraction and so he proposed that we do a temporary marriage. We entered into this marriage for a month period and then went our separate ways. Since then I have repeated the ?Muta? once again with a non-Muslim. I recently mentioned this to my sister who was horrified and said that there is no muta under sunni Islam. If this is true what about the verse 4:24? And if so why not, since it is mentioned in the Quran and was practiced during the Prophet (SAW) and Abu Bakr?s time? by Anonymous

mut'a is against sunni law. it was something instituted by the prophet and he later abrogated it. however, as far as i know shi'ites have no problem with it.

MUTA SHOULD BE NON-EXISTABLE AS IT WAS ACCEPTED IN THE TIME OF HIJRA WHEN WOMEN WERE SELLING THEMSELVES FREELY,,,, BUT AS TIMES CHANGED, REVELATIONS CHANGED AND THEY IS NO MORE MUTA!!!
