Eid Mubarak to all. Tanveer, I hate Kobe, but I can't deny that the biatch has game.
Desi, yep, Kukoc was a a key contributor to the championship team. He played a 100% every night. There were nights that the man was way off, but he would hit the key shot or make the key pass when it counted. Man, those were the days when Mike was entertaining the world.
The Jazz swept the Pistons this year led by Mehmet Okur as he got revenge on his former team. Okur 4 MVP!!!! Pistons chasing 72 isnt likely, but 62 is!
You made a good point about Manu. Without him, the Spurs would have lost. Manu is strong, physical, fast, explosive, and relentless in all facets of the game. He has a nice offensive game to compliment his physical talents, as well as his unmatched "will."
Dwayne is a similar player when it comes to attacking the basket. Unlike Kobe or TMac, the Pistons cannot stop Wade. He had a cracked rib and still could not be stopped. His first step is quicker than AI and reminds me of a young 23. Once Wade developes a great pull-up J, it is over.
Pistons will go into a funk, it is just a matter of time. Piston fans, this ain't the '95-'96 Bulls, so let us not get cocky.
Salam Tanveer, Desi, and all. Pistons do look great, but anything can happen. I still have to give respect since their style is based on team ball instead of one selfish person wanting the glory.
The Heat coaching change was surprising. By the look of Van Gundy's face, you can tell he was forced out. As for Pat Riley, I never liked his coaching style and this may explode in his face at the end of the season. I still have to stick with my boy, Wade, until the very end of the season. Mini-MJ (Wade) will get the job done!
As for Ron Artest, he is a solid player, but thinks he is better than he is. What a disappointment! I would not be surprised if he is out of the league in 2-3 years.
Finally, the most surprising team would be the Lakers. They are 8-2 in their last 10. Kobe had one of the best performances of all time when he scored 62-points in 32-minutes. Freaking mind boggling. Although I hate Kobe, lots of props to him for raising his game unlike McGrady (disappointed on how his career is going).
I would also like to point out that the Pistons are 12-2 on the ROAD. That is an incredible stat. No matter the caliber of teams you play, games away from home are twice as difficult and the 12-2 mark is head and shoulders above the rest of the league. There are reasons as to why Pistons fans are excited, this being one of them. The reaction is hardly premature, I'm sorry.
We will find out more Dec 25th....I can hear the "Ginobli is injured" excuses already.
