Help Poverty Disappear in Ethnic Minorities in the UK
Helping ethnic minority communities to enter the workplace, and thus alleviating poverty in disadvantaged communities (and in children).
Be part of an exciting new project to train indviduals in ethnic communities and gain skills in the arts, IT and management to enhance your own job prospects. An EU funded charity based in London, we are looking for people who will:
Work under the direction of a development officer
Women preferred, although a few men may also be needed
Be fluent in Urdu Punjabi or Bengali
Have good IT skills
Be able to train individuals in CCI skills (art, drama, sports, etc.)
Have experience of working with Muslim/ ethnic minority women
Develop and encourage individuals to take up training and aspire to work in the creative arts industry or become self employed in the arts.
Work with 8 individuals over 15 months
A few half days required for group or individual training
Travel expenses will be paid
