Hidaya Foundation - Donate for Qurbani via Check/Credit Card on the Web

Thought I'd share this with fellow Houstonians. Not only did this help me in meeting my religious obligation but it felt great knowing the donation will go to the people who actually need it.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught Muslims the way of remembering the act of Abraham (peace be upon him). He stayed for 10 years in Madina and performed Sacrifice/Qurbani at Eid-Ul-Adha. (Tirmidhi)

Hidaya Foundation hidaya.org) has arranged Qurbani/Udhiya 2006 project in West Africa, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and North America. For only $80 you can feed the poor with a whole sheep/goat or for a mere $50 you can sponsor a share in a Buffalo/Cow (7 shares per Buffalo/Cow). Donations can be made to Hidaya Foundation for Qurbani / Udhiya until 9:00pm (PST) on January 11, 2006. Don't miss this opportunity to feed the poor.
