HijabMan Family Picnic in PA. July 16. You are invited.
So, If you are in the NYC, PA, NJ area, you are welcome to come to a picnic (JULY 16) with my family and some family friends. It ain't so conservative, and it ain't so liberal... we are a fun bunch (I hope).
I'm thinking a water-balloon toss, some old-school South Asian game where you stack a bunch of flat rocks and hit it with a tennis ball- team game. Canoeing in the park, paddle boats. Frisbee, if cricket is your game, bring it :) I also like badminton. Water balloon-water-gun fights are also encouraged.
I think I'm allowed to bring 5-10 people. The place is only an hour and 15 min train ride from NYC 15 bucks round trip i believe. right across the bridge from trenton, 30 minutes from the ISCJ route 1 mosque, and about a 40 min drive from Philly. Anyone interested in meeting my family? And possibly getting wet? Music = most definitely. Let me know if you are interested, I'd love to meet you. First come first serve :)
My mother is a bit worried that huge crowds will show up if i post the location- 80 or so people are already coming among family and family friends. Seeing her brain work is quite amusing!
