If it does rain, as an alternative activity, we could all just Hike through the Mall near Nyack! It is huge and I recall that one of the sports stores actually had one of those artifical walls that we could climb.

OH my, I would have to make it up. I don't think it exists. Yes I should tell everybody, they have to brave all weather conditions for an appointment with the nature.

Why reschedule? I am sure all those that are comming own an umbrella or a raincoat. Yes and let's all pray for no rain ... I am aware of the "salat" for rain ... what is the "salat" for no rain?

Don't mention rain please, I don't want to hear it in relation to this event. I tried so hard to find a date to accommodate everybody that I don't think I can do it all over again. So all of those who want to come are supposed to pray for no rain that day. If the forecast is rain then I would have to reschedule, and I don't want to think about it now.

I don't have any updates yet, my schedule has been crazy. The date is set for 26th and the place is Bear Mountain. I sent an e-mail to the CAMP list today, so this week I should have an idea of how many people are coming. No matter how crazy my schedule gets, I am keeping this date for hiking though, as long as I have the health to do it insha'Allah.

Bear Mountain looks like a good idea, I will try to get some more info about the trails, etc. I am thinking of June 26th, the date is not decided yet. Some of my friends said that they can only make it on a Sunday, so I am trying to see if 26th will work.

I'd suggest Bear Mountain. There's a monastary seated there that's open to the public and a very fascinating place to visit.
