Hooking up on Internet


Ok, So I was wondering could people really hook up on Internet .Can we really find the love of our life on Internet? I have always heard of certain acquaintances meeting on the Internet .I just always wondered can something so complicated like love and marriages occur through Internet.

P.s Just for the record I am "Happily Single?. This is just a random thought.

I was at first resistant to meeting people of any kind online, but it took time to get used to.

I think as we get older, our interaction with people naturally decreases (when we are no longer in school and stuff), so it's harder to meet people.

In terms of relationships....I think for guys it seems easier to approach girls online than in person.

I agree with Sipa. It's funny, but I think trying to find someone on the internet is just as long, tedious, difficult, and "chanceful" as it is trying to meet someone in person! Either way, both are the same thing, just different media/tools/means towards the same end.

I think that 'hooking up on the internet' is much the same as hooking up anywhere else. What happens later depends on the first meeting (irrespective if its arranged on the internet or by your Auntie). The internet is just another way of meeting up. Whether it leaves to love and marriage depends on how you click afterwards.
