depends how much can u travel in that humid season of august... expect very hot n annoyin weather... within lahore, Badshahi mosque, castle, Shalimar Garden are the places to see... changa maanga jungle for a day out on picnic, hiran minaar abt 30km outside lahore... sozo water park for water games (but plz dnt compare that with wot u have in england)... meuseum on mall road, liberty n fortress for shopping... cuckoo's cafe near by badshahi mosque for a nice dinner... village, mirchi, fredie's are few name's i remember for eating out... Gawalmandi food street is a must... lahore is always rich of concerts and cultural events, find out from ur hotel or from local newspapers, not a thing to miss wen u in lahore... if u gona travel northern areas, i wud recommend Kaghan, Sawat or Ayubia in the order of preference... u most probly wont be able to get a flight for Chitral coz of bad weather n high demand otherwise a must see place... Shangrila near gilgit another fit place, but again depends on the availability of flight... Soon Valley and Sakaiser, about 2-3 hrs drive from lahore another luvable place... Mangla and Tarbaila Dams if u r interested in engineering architectures... Therez a beautiful restaurant at River Jehlum on GT road, if u happen to travel by GT road between Islamabad and Lahore, that wud a nice place for lunch or snacks in a withering evening... il email ur my account number, plz transfer my fees asap...
