hey, i didnt say i would, im saying guys would.

i dont claim to be a mack daddy or anything but im not settling for one or the other...looks, brains, dIn,
all or none.

thats probably a big reason im single..its not an easy set of traits to find

but i also believe in God's divine plan for every human and sometimes you just need to get out of the way of the plan and let it work instead of trying to Make it work.

LOL! that just tells me how freaking shallow guys can be! and not to mention transparent! I can't believe what guys would let a gurl get away with as long as she is pretty enough! you guys will let a hottie treat you like dirt and you'll love every min of it! LOL

i dont think I have to lie. but maybe i like to higlight my good points and minimize my bad ones. its like chris rock said..when you meet someone for the first time..you arent meeting them..you are meeting their representative.

i understand the female perspective however, because id say men think that if they can just get the giril hooked, shell then have to accept his hidden sordid whatever it may be. maybe he hides the fact that he smokes...maybe he hides the fact that he has a shady past. maybe his job isnt all he purported it to be. maybe (and this is a big one) he ISNT quite as islmaic/religion as he claimed initially.

does it work both ways...it sure does..but i dont think it goes to the same extent. guys generally are hung up on looks and if the girl looks good enough, hell gladly be "trapped"

Samspan, you have touched on a very touchy yet very real subject in your last post.
Why do guys need the need to lie to trap a gurl? Why not just be truthful and honest with what a guy wants in order to find someone most compatible with him?

I say this without pointing the finger on the gurlies because some of us out there also lie to trap a man, but our lies tend to be of a different sort. (If you know what I mean)

I don't know here we are we have gone full circle and now we are back at the honesty issue and how couples can so easily lie to get what they want or who they want... WHY????

excellent, we are back on track with some constructive
discussion.

i wonder though, as many guys say that it should be her choice..how many just SAY that to get her interested and TRAP her. only later to find out he NEVER intended it to be that way. :* :* :*

LOL! yup all i can do is just laugh!! Anyway where were we b4 Miss All That came in here? Oh yes talking about working females who ARE capable of balancing it all, and what you guys thought of that...

I have to agree with Samspan, it should be her choice. I am not saying there shouldn't be a discussion about it but at the end of the day it is her choice whether or not she want to work full time or just stay home full time.

LOL! Well Staph everyone can come in here and read what I have posted so far and see that I am nothing like you have so eloquently stated. I am Syrian bred born and raised and damn proud to be one! Just because Syrians and Lebanese tend to be the 'fairer' Arabs is no fault of my own!

When I stated in my profile that I am atypical Arab gurl wasn't out of insecurity it?s the mere truth! Anyone who knows me well agrees to that statement. But I don't need to justify myself to you or anyone. I am who I am and damn proud of it!

The reason why I?m on naseeb is because I have a couple of friends on here who invited me to join in order to keep in touch with them! I ain't looking for love on here believes me!

And staph darling don't be jealous just cuz I look better than you... LOL

Being a good mom is the best and hardest job a woman can take on! That is something that is full of passion and compassionate, but that is not what you originally stated. You painted me a picture of Peg of all my children. You said you wanted to watch Oprah and eat Bon Bons every day! And that to me and everyone who will read this is pure LAZY!
Now to the men: There is nothing wrong with being a full time dad! If you think that may emasculate you in any way shape or form that is just your insecurities speaking out! Kids need both parents to be there for them, and that is that

As for Araf's question. I find nothing wrong with being a full time mom till the babies are old enough to be in preschool, and than I?m off to work again. After all spending quality time with my children is so much better than spending all day with them resenting them and my husband because I don't have an out side life of my own.

Now to each his own, and that is just my opinion and how I want to be. And I realize I need to find me someone who is supportive of my life style...

One final word to you Staph, if its so easy for you to go out and find yourself someone who can fall head over heels for you sweetie why in the world are you on this website? What aren't you telling us that is making you search for love online???

Ok, so Staph you want to be a house wife and it sounds to me you want to be the kind like Peg from Married with Children! Well in that case sweetie you need to find yourself a very rich husband who is HEAD OVER HEELS in love with you and who is naive enough to know that he can never get better than you! Because if I find a man who ambition in life is to just work out I WOULD GO CRAZY!!!! I need to stay busy and like Araf said when two people have other things going on in their lives that keeps things interested!

Anyway that is my advice to you and you know what I am sure you?re just making fun, and I am sort of hoping you are :) because no one can be THIS freaking shallow! LOL

my stance is i believe in the woman doing what she wants. work or stay at home combo of both. but i wouldnt be into a girl who never intended to work outside of the house from the jump

Interesting... Well let?s say LOVED her career and wanted to work even after she gets married, are you for or against her being a working mom? And if push comes to shove if let?s she is getting transferred to another city for a bigger promotion, would you pack up and go with her, or would you expect her to give that up for your own career?

Login to find out (July 25, 2005 at 11:46am)
w, its tough for me to answer that question fairly.
i think it has to do with "success" more than money.

i consider myself very successful in my career (as opposed to other aspects) and if a woman made more
mone than me it wouldnt diminish MY success.

now if i had a dead end job or and she was a lawyer or doctor or did whatever and made more than me then maybe it would be different.

i guess what im saying is that its difficult for me know how id feel. i actually really want a very successful woman but i feel successful already. know what i mean???
