How many coats of white can a life take?

Our life is like a canvas and every relationship like the strokes of a paintbrush leaves its unique shades on it. A collage of vivid images is what we carry. However, at times, we need to wipe out the greys and bloody reds, put a coat of white all over and start afresh. It might happen a couple of times and if it does, the opaqueness is lost and the darker shades start surfacing. The question is..how many coats of white can a life take?

When we stop painting, we stop living.

Yes we get tired, but those who have true faith, who truly believe and rely on their Lord, are able to pick up that paintbrush after each and every obstacle and start again, knowing that they themselves will be painting their own future, their eternal destiny.

Wow..nice thoughts all of you. Fuzed u are absolutely right when you say its all upto an individual as to how he or she handles life. And yes not being able to look back at your past id surely something of an achievement in life.
Sahadat, you proved Fuzed's thoughts completely. Wish throwing away the canvas was as easy, it can be done for sure, nothing is impossible.
Hmmm..Epoppoie, how abt getting tired and not being able to paint anymore, what then?

I tend to think that the background colours make the fresh strokes more interesting... But If you must whitewash, then do it properly. Throw away the old canvas and get a new one! It can be done - cos what's real is what's behind the brush not in front of it.
