how to get hitched?
yeah hi and salaams. im pretty young. but i would prefer to marry a memon so our kids can speak memoni and all that, however, i'm curious as to how other memon youngins intend to find their life partners (gosh, i hate that phrase...life partners, its so uber corny!)
but yeah, how does one go about finding a fellow memon to settle down with? the task seems especially hard to me, especially given the fact that there arent exactly very many of us around the US/Canada.
and yeah i know, little things like "i like psychology! so the guy i marry should be a total nut about psych as well" really dont matter, but thats not my point exactly.
the fact remains that one comes across hundreds upon hundreds of different kinds of people during their entire lifetime. the chances of absolute compatability (or the potential for absolute compatibility, anyway) are obviously very low.
contribute to that the fact that THERES NOT VERY MANY MEMONS AROUND NORTHERN AMERICA (as if i havent mentioned this enough times already) it seems really hoepless
or is it just me? btw, im not one of those uber ethnocentric, "i'm memon, hear me roar, memon pride" kind of person, but i do care about my roots, much much more than i used to.
