I gave in..


and bought the American, overpriced version of the "koosay"...come on girls you know what im talking about, the embellished ballet slippers flats, that were inspired by Pakistan and India...

I bought them from Nordstroms because they actually had a sole the ones you can get from a desi store feel like wood and are excrutiatingly painful, and it really bothers me they have no left and right ..meaning u can wear either on either foot...

I got a pair for ten dirhams ( almost 3 usd) here during the shopping festival..

but then I bought a pair of shoes (flats) that look like dress shoes from the front but in a very soft leather so they're very flexible and they're white with no back .. so they're actually slip ons .. and they look great with slightly tapered jeans in faded denim .. they have black soles .. so I wear these more then the other ones .. my sister has secretly placed them in her closet ..

dont worry ghazala..ur not the only one guilty of buying those shoes..i was at bloomies and i saw them and had to get a pair..def more comfy than the indian ones i have to admit..

I think I need to buy a pair now. I've seen them around so much but don't know how I feel about 'flat's -- I'm more of

carrie totally would have worn kussahs, but like a year before it became a trend. i'm with apc, i never liked them before and i'm still not a fan. but if you like 'em and they look good, why not?

yeah .. i'm seeing those all over the place now .. i wonder if they are gonna do the same for the guy curly toed shoes as well. Cuz they also need an upgrade.
