I love Being Tall

I Love Being Tall by Stacy-Deanne of Houston, Texas
At 5'11 I stand taller than most
Which leaves an ample amount of reason to boast
When I walk into a room, people stop and stare
But not just at my bright smile or pretty hair
Sometimes I'm amazed at the attention I get
While riding in cars or standing in crowds I see easily without breaking a sweat
In the past I was one of the tallest in school
I wasn't comfortable until I realized tall people rule
I love my height more than anything else
It empowers me, guides and allows me to be myself
Even if I had the choice I wouldn't want to be short
Because tallness brings confidence which is now my best sport
When I look at myself I can't help but be pleased
I make an impression and glide through the crowds with ease
My height helps me through all kinds of weather
It's the glue for my self-assurance that keeps it all together
I never knew being tall was such a treat
Until I come face to face with the people I meet
I love being tall, turning the world onto myself
For if I wasn't tall, I might as well be someone else

wow, sounds too good to be true! once a year? how long have you been doing japanese thermal reconditioning for? my hair texture (normal to fine) is apparently not compatible with it per the hairdresser who evaluated my hair. i also looked into a perm that just makes curly hair more wavy - somehow those options seem limited as well for my hair. aaah...such is life!
I moved to Albany for work-related reasons. Gotta pay for all my shoes somehow! j/k

Just an aside...I was at the mall today, and this lady actually stopped me to tell me she loved my height and wanted it! :)

The Yuko system fundamentally changes the texture of your hair, and nourishes it with negative ions (whereas blowdryers and ceramic hair straighteners are damaging, and I don't have the time to use them regularly). It is a pain when the curly roots start to grow back, but I just start to wear hats more often when that happens ;)
Regular straightening via chemical relaxers doesn't work - your hair goes back to frizzy in the next wash! If you have normal to fine hair, I would suggest buying a straightening iron which is charged with negative ions :)
Yes, Vin Diesel is testament to my earlier statement about good looking bald men being really good looking.
I am almost 5'8" (5'7.5" to be exact).
Vin Diesel looks great. If he just don't talk, he would look even better. So Uzma03, I tend to multi task when I write so I don't spell check nor double check what I write.
And bald guys who look good.......Vin Diesel! 'nuf said ;)
