I NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!!
Salams I know this is weird but I am in a tough position. I need volunteers for an event on 9/13/05 in the West Palm Beach area.
I work for Oxfam an international humanitarian relief organization. oxfamamerica.org ) with the Make Trade Fair campaign maketradefair.com
Note I am not asking for ANY money! I am only asking for your time. I work with volunteers in every city across the US to help promote or get people signed up to the Big Noise, an international petition that states ?Join your voice in a call to end poverty by making trade fair? We already have more the 8 million people joined onto the campaign and are trying to reach our goal of 10 million.
Our events are held at the Coldplay concert wherever they go www.coldplay.com . Since Coldplay supports the campaign and believes in it so much they have asked for us to outreach to their fans which is a great way for us to continue our outreach effort.
I am in West Palm Beach area today and I am short for tomorrow 9/13/05 show.
You don?t have to know much about the Make Trade Fair campaign as there will be a short training an hour before the gates open at 4:45pm at the Sound Advice Ampitheater. (link for directions below)
Please I had 20 volunteers drop out last minute and I need to get 20 volunteers for tomorrow.
One thing is I have to get clearance for each volunteer so if you can commit to volunteering tomorrow 9/13 at the Coldplay concert at Sound Advice Ampitheater Please e-mail me at [email protected] as soon as possible so I can get the proper clearances if you don?t do this then you won?t be able to enter the gates.
Remember no money involved, you will be able to get in as someone working the concert so you don?t have to have a ticket to the Coldplay concert to volunteer.
You also get some free Oxfam stuff as well. It?s really easy and I would greatly appreciate it if my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters or anyone you don't have to be muslim, can help out by dedicating some volunteer time to this effort.
