I recently graduated and need help to find a job

Hi everyone,

I recently graduated from an MBA program on June 11th 2005 at California State University Bakersfield and since then I didn?t find any job opportunity yet!!! I keep sending emails and resumes and unfortunately as soon as employers find out that I?m international student with an OPT, they don?t call me back anymore!!! I?m international student from Morocco ? France and I?ve done my master and bachelor of general engineering in Paris ? France then had a 3 year working experience. Obviously, networking help a lot and is more efficient than keeping sending resumes on monster or careerbuilder or hotjobs. Is there anyone who can help me or suggest any advice on how should I approach my job hunting strategy? I desperately need help and job, otherwise I?ll have to go back to Paris with no valuable added value experience here in the US. I?m eager to relocate anywhere here in the US as long as there?s an opportunity. I can send you my resume if you can help me. My email address is [email protected]
Thank you a lot in advance.
Cheers

That's a great advice Aamir. I was about to tell the same as my friend did the same. After graduation he was looking for a job but no response. Luckily he found an internship in Intel and after 3 months Intel offered him a full time position with H-1 Visa. So internship will be the best way to go. Good Luck!

Cheers,
Waseem

Salaam.

What industries / sectors are you interested in?

Perhaps you could seek a short-term internship or project with an organization of interest to you and use that as a step to move you closer to a full-time job.

Best,
Aamir

I signed up for the job fair with nshmba.org that is held in Anaheim, California September 29 ? October 1. :)
I hope companies will be interested in me even if they have to sponsor me.

you could try to head to a career fair.

Nshmba.org or nbmba.org are good websites..i think both of their conferences are in California this year.
