If Prophet Muhammad (SAW) visited u
just for a day or two
If he comes unexpectedly
I wonder what u'd do!
Oh,I know u'd give ur nicest room
To such an honoured guest
And all the food u serve to him
Would be the very best
And u would keep assuming him
U are glad to have him there
That serving him in ur own home
Is a joy beyond compare
But...when u saw him coming
Would u meet him at the door
With arms outstretched in welcome,
To ur heavenly visitor?
Or..would u have to change ur clothes
Before u let him in?
Or hide some magazines n put
The Quran where they have been?
Would u still watch X-rated movies
On ur tv set
Or would u wish to switch it off
Before he gets upset?
Would u turn off the raido
& hope he hadn't heard,
And wish u hadn't uttered,
The last loudy hasty word?
Would u hide ur wordly music;
And instead take hadith books out
Could u let him walk right in,
Or would u rush about
And I wonder..if Prophet(saw)spent
A day or two with u;
Would u go right on doing the things
U always say?
Would life for u continue;
As it does from day to day?
Would ur family conversation,
Keep up its usual pace?
And would u find it hard on each meal
To say a table grace?
Would u say each n every prayer,
Without putting on a frown?
And would u always jump up early,
For prayers at dawn?
Would u sing the songs u always sing,
And read the books u read?
And let him know the things on which,
Ur mind n spirit feed?
Would u take the Prophet(SAW)
Everywhere u plan to go
Or would u change ur plans
Just for a day or so?
Would u be glad to make him meet,
Ur very closest friends?
Or would u hope they'd stayed away
Until his visit ends?
Would u be glad to have him stay;
Forever on n on
Or would u sigh with great relief,
When he atleat was gone?
It might be interesting to know
The things that u would do
If Prophet Muhammad(SAW) in person
come to spend sometime with u...
