ICNA Mourns Ahmad Deedat's Loss
Shaikh Ahmad Deedat, the prominent scholar and great da?ee of Islam
has passed away today, on August 8th, 2005, in South Africa. Inna
lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioun (Surely we belong to Allah (SWT) and
unto Him is our return). He was 87 years of age. In a condolence message, Dr.
Khurshid Khan, the Ameer of ICNA has said, ?With the demise of Shaikh
Ahmad Deedat, the world has lost one of the greatest d?aees (callers
of Islam). The late Shaikh Deedat led an exemplary life who dedicated
his entire life for the cause of Allah through the spreading of the
message of Islam to the humanity. His death is an irrevocable loss for
the Muslim Ummah and he will always be remembered for his un-matching
sacrifice, sincerity and the highest devotion for the cause of Allah.?
Dr. Khan has extended his deepest condolences to all the family
members of Shaikh Deedat and prayed to Allah (SWT) for the highest
place of Jannah for our revered Shaikh Ahmad Deedat.
