It was indeed a wonderful experience, after iftar and before dinner, I had the following speech that I read for my friends who were there, but for those who were unable to attend that Party , here is the speech :

============Speech Start==================

Asalamwalikum,

Dear friends

God is with those who are Patience. Hence wherever there is patient there is Lord. Wherever there is God there is hope, wherever there is hope there is Faith.

Where there is no Faith there is doubt, where there is doubt there is Satan, wherever there is Satan, there are people unwilling to heed to the creed.

Likewise God stamps the heart of the disbelievers and seals there hearing and veils their sights, so nothing can become apparent.

The essence of Patience is to work hard and leave the result up-to the Lord. We should not dwell on the outcome; rather trust the judgment of Lord. And whatever the Lord presents us with; one should find contentment in that.

Patient is a sign of obedience. A believer will remain steadfast even in the time of distress and his/her thought will remain with the Lord. Patience teach us to recognize our short-comings.

Our inner-illumination / inner-sight increases once we observe patient. Our difficulties ameliorate once we learn to comply with Patience.

Meditation Start:

Blue Light coming from the sky and getting stored in your heart. 5 minutes

End Note:

The words I just said are the extract from one of my Sufi master?s speeches.

There are few people who help me out to arrange this speech and meditation. Though at the very moment they are enjoying the iftar with their friends and family but I would like to present their name in front of you as follow:

Arshad Azeemi ? who help me to arrange meditation for you guys
Nafisa Nahrin ? my very best friend, who translated the extract of my Sufi-master?s Urdu speech in to the English.

Thanks to all of you for visiting me and please forgive me for any short-comings if you find any.

Allah Hafiz and God Speed

===========Speech End===============================

Does one need an invitation to go to these iftars? Where is Darassalam?

Salaam all, I know for a fact that I will not be able to attend. But I still recommend modifying the eVite to be published. You've seen how the JE is still sitting empty. If that happens to be the case tomorrow, and no one put anything there, then you'll be sad that you didn't go and modify the eVite earlier. Just try it man, its not that complicated..

Make the evite list of participants open. Or make a new evite, and make sure you're keeping it open, and post the URL here. Have fun all!

Yes, I agree w/ Super...the evite list needs to be open/published because I'm also hesistant to answer w/o knowing who else has already commited. *:

Oh and will this be a pot-luck type deal where people will bring their own lil' sumptin' sumptin'? If so, then this would be another reason to publish the list because then, everyone will know what someone's already bringing. ;)

Hey Fari, its Sunday the 16th, not Sat. And Mudassir, a lady made a complaint to me that the evite list isn't open/published. That's the whole point of evite man! So peeps can see who's going and decide accordingly. Would you want decent girls to commit to being there, only to find they're the only one? How nice would that be?

Please make the list open, so peeps can see and contact each other. It will only help. (I spent hours last night marketing the heck out of this event. The thought was that if enough peeps decide to show up, maybe I'll change my plans and announce my intention to show up too.. I can't do that unless the evite list is opened up. ThX!)

Also, if you paste the evite URL, make sure to remove the space after the "and" sign before the words "unknownUser", close to the end:

My little contribution to my fellow Bay Area peeps.
Right DDD?-)

Salaam all. I doubt if I can make it, as I have to be in Campbell that day for a concert. But just wanted to let you know that the correct URL for others to RSVP should be BOTH the following lines without any spaces in between (as it is one text string): evite.com unknownUser=true

Paste the above address into your URL location / address bar, and press enter. The original link was cut off and in either case, it was for someone with the initials 'mm'. Please try to co-ordinate the next event when y'all meet, if you'd be so kind. Lets do this again before too long. Was Salaam.
