i'm so mad right now
Salaam all!! Has anyone seen the journal that naseeb member "Taurusi" put up about pushtuns? Please take a look at the journal and the link he put in his journal about pushtuns and homosexuality. I can't comment on his journal because i'm not connected to his fish smelling bengali *ss but maybe some of you who are connected or are premium members can.

I'll make dua for you and you make dua for me!
Interestingly, a male friend of mine and I were having a discussion on this very subject today. He is 25 and like you, Babyj, is also seeking a decent Muslim girl but is having a difficult time of it. He says that girls are either into his looks, his car, or his money and to entice him, ask him out on dates to clubs, parties, and gatherings where "liberalism" including drinking (and all that goes along with it) is hardly given a second thought, that's how common it has become among these up and coming generations astagfarullah. Needless to say, he is hardly seeking a girl like that to spend the rest of his life with.
And no, not every chick is a materialistic "whore" (but again, if they want a lot of dowry that's their Islamic right). Unfortunately, the ones that I know who aren't materialistic are already married. And it's not like I'm cheap, I'm more than willing to spend, but it has to be within my means.
I can say this given even just the kinds of chicks I have interacted with on Naseeb since most seem to be decent and seeking someone decent too; perhaps the male view is different re: the chicks out there on the site? What about chicks not on the site? I mean, is every Muslim chicky a materialistic whore? *:
I would disagree. The kafirahs I've met have far more expectations than Muslim women that I have met do. To get a Muslimah boils down to one thing - how much money can you pay in dowry. If you are a poor doctorate seeking student like me, you're kinda screwed. Not that a high dowry is haraam, it's their right, and if it's their demand, they are entitled to it.
Some kafirahs I know on the other hand look for things like personality, the fact that I'm chaste and will remain pure for them, etc. Further I just can't find a single Muslimah with a decent amount of hayaa, but among the Catholic girls I know, this isn't an issue! Sad isn't it.
*SIGH* It's all sad, to be honest with you -:- Kind of a no-win situation.
One day a brother and I were having a talk and he said, "'Babyj' we need to return back to the Quran and Sunnah" I thought to myself, "This guy is telling me to go back to the Quran and Sunnah when he himself promotes zina (yes zina)." It's this hypocracy we need to avoid. I'm not saying anything about any of our members as we all have good niyyahs Inshallah, but what I'm trying to get at is that we need to get up for tahajjud and cry to Allah until our cloths become wet.
2. In regards to deadlines, when I was an undergrad, I set deadlines for myself and met them Alhumdulillah. There is nothing wrong in regards to planning for the future as long as one remembers that nothing happens except by Allah's Will.
