This is the first conference on Sufi Poetry held at SBIA. The objective of
this conference is to out reach the Punjabi speaking community (Muslim and
non-Muslim) and provide them information about how Punjabi Sufi Poetry has
been influenced by Islam over the years. The emphasis will be on Sufi
traditions and their impact on spreading the message of Islam through their
poetry.
